Now is the time for our girls to return to surface and they will perform controlled ascent. The controlled ascent is a strict procedure for diver returning to the surface. This process must be done in stages and slowly to avoid injury to diver's internal organs. The process started with consent signal between buddies before performing the ascend process. Divers then swim up at rate of 18 meters per minute or less while controlling their breath and tank pressure. Normally this will performed in stages if the diver has dived deep to decompress their lungs, but in shallower dives they can go all the way to surface. After reaching the surface, divers should inform their buddies with an OK hand sign.
