This diver monitor the astronaut and also provide support during the training mission. Should there be a problem arise, the diver should act to prioritize the safety of the astronaut. After she obtanied her diving license, she's assigned as support diver to an astronaut on training. Soon, she will dive in a spacesuit also. The hand gesture that she and the astronaut made were special gesture used only during mission on NBL.
