Artwork no. 608 «Preview Size» Title: Only in Your Perception 1 Finished: May 02, 2012 This was actually a render test for Bryce 7.1 Pro that I just obtained. I tried to explore the new IBL/HDRI lighting in Bryce 7 to see how it look like. After series of setup, I settled down on this setup. It was a long render for just simple scene like this one, took 3 hours on network render using 3 quad-core pcs with total of 12 cores compares only 10 minutes on normal/non-IBL lighting. Actually, this was the third render because the result was not satisfactory. It turned out that the new Bryce 7 antialiasing method was make a huge different. First, I used Mitchel-Netravali method, found out that there was still aliasing jaggies. Then I changed into quadratic but still some aliasing left.
